reflections on Wayne Dyer on PBS

12/23/06 Note: As I transfer this post to the new blogsite, I feel it necessary to point out that I was running a fever and very sick with pneumonia when this was written. I have included it, and have not edited it out of a sense of wanting to know and be able to remind myself what a freak-and-a-half I can be when I’m really sick. To my future self: please excuse and try to understand the ‘you’ that needed to write this crap.

*********************

When you are inspired by some great purpose, the bonds of your thoughts are broken and your mind transcends limitations.

10.This is my desire and it is aligned with Spirit.

  • manifest abundance in my life
  • feel sense of wellbeing in my body
  • have and relish divine relationships in my life
  • life in a peaceful and loving place
  • (Refine for me)

9. what thoughts will manifest the energy to achieve #10?

  • “Ask and it is given” teachings of Abraham
  • most of us attract what we don’t want or what is missing because that’s what we spend our time thinking about: it probably won’t happen, it’s too hard, the economy is bad, etc., I can’t do it, well I’m never going to get rich at it.
  • Einstein said everyone has to decide: do I live in a friendly or hostile universe? the way you answer this question is important for how you react and live in the world. [this is directly related to the abundance/scarcity; isolation/community; fear/love-trust]
  • Say this: What I desire, which is aligned with Spirit, is on it’s way. There is nothing for me to worry about.
  • You will start to look for occasions for it to show up and subconsciously deal with obstacles. don’t get bogged down.
  • Nikos Kazantazakis “by believing passionately in what does not exist, we create it.” (author of Zorba the Greek and The Last Temptation of Christ and a biography of St. Francis of Assisi).

Your Mind Transcends limitations. - you enter the field of all possibilities
You are unlimited in the same way as before “you showed up” Think of the bliss of little children. Remember the sense of justice of small children. (boy with building well in Africa for $70 — or me trying to figure out how taking care of each other as a society is rejected by christians)
