And Christmahanukwanzaakah too!

So, you’ve heard of Neil before. He’s this nice Jewish man that lives in LA, only right now he is in NYC visiting his mom and her new boyfriend (I think Neil may have gotten into some bad turkey leftovers…but that’s speculation for another day.)

Anyway.

I ‘ve had a blog crush on Neil for several months. Mostly because he’s a good laugh to read but also because he gives me good advice…even when he doesn’t know it. Like this, from his comments today:

I even told him that him carrying around that “bag of toys” on dates was calling too much attention to his performance anxiety, and was nothing more than a security blanket.

(This so totally explained a strange thing SaxMan did on Saturday that I laughed out loud with delight! Ya’ll can just imagine…)

ANYWAY. The real reason that I love Neil today is that he finally pushed enough of my buttons (the motivating ones…not the pissed off ones) to get me off my toochis and figure out how to record on GarageBand, rip it to iTunes and make a sound file that can be posted.

I think I’ve got the technology figured out. Now all I need to do is figure out how to upload it to my little blog page here. I’ve got three songs ready for his big Christmahanukwanzaakah concert on December 20.

But it’s too late tonight, I think to fight with blogger and such. Plus I’ve got to be on-call tomorrow. Probably should have gone to be hours ago.
